Dr Ritrosky favors the under arm route (Transaxillary)
for an incision in the skin's natural folds. The traditional
peri-areolar and infra-mammary procedures are viable
options, based on personal preferences. Dr Ritrosky
places the saline implants behind the breast tissue
and beneath the pectoral muscle. This more involved
technique offers complete muscle coverage of the implant
without the need for cutting any muscles. The placement
of the implants beneath the chest muscle achieves a
more natural breast shape, no implant visibility, and
no scars on the breasts.
